For a sweet and fresh treat, these fruit salsa & cinnamon chips are a tasty addition to a summer cookout. The colorful fruit and homemade cinnamon sugar pita chips make your tastebuds jump for joy. You can dip the salsa with chips or add it to some vanilla yogurt for a fancy parfait.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 medium container of strawberries
- 1 small container of raspberries
- 3 kiwi
- 2 green apples
- Lemon juice
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 2-3 tbsp of pastry filling (strawberry or raspberry flavor)
- 1-2 packages of tortillas
- Cinnamon & sugar
- Spray olive oil
INSTRUCTIONS
- SALSA
- Wash & dice the strawberries, raspberries, and kiwi
- Skin the apples & dice them into small cubes
- Combine ingredients into a bowl
- Mix in pastry filling, brown sugar, and a splash of lemon juice
- Refrigerate and enjoy!
- CINNAMON SUGAR PITA CHIPS
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees
- Use a pizza cutter to cut tortillas into chips
- Spread chips on baking sheet & spray with oil
- Sprinkle desired cinnamon and sugar on chips
- Bake for 12 minutes
