A flavor bomb meal that can fit your meal prep no matter the season. This chicken cheesesteak skillet is inspired by Recipe Runner’s recipe on Pinterest. You can make this low carb by enjoying it with sauce or if you have carbs available you can eat this over rice or in a tortilla.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 chicken breast
- 1 green pepper
- 1 red pepper
- 1 onion
- Salt and pepper
- Paprika
- Garlic salt
- Optional: provolone cheese
- Optional: rice or tortillas
INSTRUCTIONS
- Dice peppers and onions
- Cut chicken breast into strips
- Saute veggies in a skillet with oil and salt and pepper to taste
- Cook until peppers are tender & onions are translucent
- Set veggies to the side, add more oil to the skillet, and lay chicken strips in
- Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic salt to taste
- Cook for a few minutes on one side, then flip and season the other side
- Cook until chicken is done, then add the veggies back in until warm
- Optional: add cheese and let it melt, serve over rice or in a tortilla
